VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Authorities are searching for a suspect involved in a hit-and-run crash that left one man dead in Van Nuys.
Los Angeles police officers received a call around 11:45 p.m. regarding the hit-and-run at Firmament Avenue and Vanowen Street.
A 33-year-old man was found near a street corner and was pronounced dead at the scene. It was unclear if the victim was in a marked crosswalk at the time of the collision, authorities said.
No suspect description was available, but the car was described as a white, four-door sedan. The LAPD is offering a $50,000 reward for any information leading to the suspect's arrest.
