VENTURA COUNTY (KABC) -- Ventura County sheriff's deputies arrested a suspected methamphetamine distributor on July 30 following a month-long investigation.

Jose Garcia, 30, of Pacoima was allegedly supplying illegal drugs being funneled into east Ventura County, according to the Ventura County Sheriff's Narcotics East County Street Team.

Narcotic detectives arrested Garcia on the 1000 block of Borden Avenue in Pacoima around 8:45 p.m. on July 30. A search warrant was served. Detectives found and seized over two pounds of methamphetamine, over an ounce of cocaine and $7,000.

Garcia was transported to Ventura County Jail and booked for two violations of possession for sale of a controlled substance. He is being held in lieu of $250,000.
