BEAUMONT, Calif. (KABC) -- The SpaceX rocket launch on Friday not only caused a social media frenzy, but a multi-car crash on the 10 Freeway in Beaumont.
At least three cars were involved in the crash, which was captured on a driver's dashcam. It showed cars halting on the freeway.
Many people called the launch distracting and dangerous for drivers on the roads as people on other freeways also stopped or slowed down to see the mysterious streak in the sky.
Eyewitness News received hundreds of calls from viewers about the launch, with many of them pulled over on the side of the road in stop-and-go traffic.
