Musicians from all over the world are preparing for the Rose Parade.
And there is no shortage of homegrown talent. L.A. Unified School District's All-District Honor Marching Band is bringing 350 students to perform at the parade.
The band was one of four bands to receive an automatic bid to take part in the annual Rose Parade.
"When you leave this experience, I want them to know that all things are possible and that through hard work and dedication and perseverance, that they can do it," band director Tony White said. "That's what I really want them to do. I mean, it's not just about being a great musician anymore as much as about being a great human being."
The student band members prepare for the parade by practicing drills and building their endurance.
