LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Rain has moved out of Southern California, but cooler temperatures will linger on Tuesday ahead of a warmup.
A warming trend is expected to pick up Wednesday after a dome of high pressure starts building over the region, bringing sunshine and less marine layer. Temperatures could climb to the 80s and 90s during the weekend.
Los Angeles and Orange counties Tuesday can expect some sunshine, along with a high of 68 and a low of 57. Toward the end of the week, temperatures jump to the mid-80s.
The valleys and the Inland Empire Tuesday will see morning clouds and afternoon sunshine. Temperatures start to increase Wednesday, and the region could be in the low 90s later in the week.
Beaches Tuesday will see a high of 62 degrees and a low of 53. Temperatures will gradually increase throughout the week.
The mountains will see a slight chance of rain and partly cloudy conditions. The high will reach 58 and the low will be 30.
Deserts Tuesday will have a high of 76 degrees and a low of 52. Conditions heat up starting Wednesday and Palm Springs could experience triple-digit heat this weekend.
