WEST COVINA, Calif. (KABC) -- West Covina city officials are eyeing a former landfill as a possible site for an amusement park that could be constructed within the next few years.
Council members are discussing the idea and a deal with Singpoli Group, a general contractor based in Arcadia. City officials envision a 200-acre entertainment complex, which would include virtual reality attractions, a zip line, hotels and restaurants.
But before any of that can happen, the land must be sold. Singpoli said it would come back with a development plan.
If council members like the plan, they would hold community meetings and an environmental impact report would be needed.
