Los Angeles Zoo's holiday 'Zoo Lights' start twinkling Friday

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The Los Angeles Zoo is kicking off its annual holiday light show Friday.

This year's event will feature new, animated "northern lights" with glittering animal constellations.

In addition to the wonderland of lights, visitors can get up-close with real reindeer.

There will also be lots of seasonal treats to taste.

"Zoo Lights" runs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. every night through Jan. 8.
