SACRAMENTO Jesse Moe Young was convicted of killing 61-year-old Donald
DeSaix last year at their senior apartment complex in Sacramento.
Young waited for his victim after their dispute, then fatally
stabbed him in the chest.
At Friday's sentencing, an unrepentant Young said a life spent
mostly in prison taught him never to back down.
Prosecutors say Young has been convicted of 17 crimes since he
was 11. He served nine years for manslaughter after a 1995 killing
in Sacramento and two years for manslaughter when he killed a man
in Oakland 12 years earlier.
