11 ways to extend your lifespan

LOS ANGELES Researchers found that through 11 different activities, that include quitting smoking, losing weight and taking aspirin, a person could add an average of one year to their life expectancy.

Now, experts estimate that if people adhered to all 11 activities, heart attacks would decrease by 63 percent and strokes by 31 percent.

The study's authors say their results show how important it is to focus on disease prevention.
