LA CANADA --Firefighters made quick work of a small brushfire in the Angeles National Forest above La Canada Friday morning. The call came in as a vehicle fire just after 9:00 a.m., but the flames quickly spread to some nearby brush.
Crews had a tough time reaching the fire, but with the help of a water-dropping helicopter they were able to contain it and keep it from spreading.
Fortunately the winds were relatively calm. The fire burned about an acre.
