Budget crisis pushes Dems to make move

SACRAMENTO They plan to put a budget up for a vote this Sunday, without support from Republicans or the governor.

Talks with Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger failed on Thursday, and some say Sunday's vote will likely fail as well.

The Democrats' proposal includes a raise in income taxes on high wage earners. Republican lawmakers have said they won't support the Democrats latest proposal.
