O.C. chase ends in Long Beach crash

WESTMINSTER, Calif. The chase began in Westminster after a police officer tried to pull over a suspected drunk driver in an older model Honda Accord, who took off at about 11:30 p.m.

The pursuit ended on E. 7th Street in Long Beach when the driver blew through a red light at Redondo Avenue and crashed into a Toyota Corolla.

Both the suspect and the other driver went to the hospital, but are expected to be okay.

Following his arrests, police learned that the man was named in a $250,000 warrant for drug violations,.
