Causes found in San Bernardino blazes

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. The two most destructive of the fires, which occurred along Interstate 215, was blamed on embers from an earlier blaze. Fire officials say embers were likely in a palm tree.

That earlier blaze was started hours before, also along I-215, due to a discarded cigarette.

Finally, officials determined that the fire that burned 136 acres on Little Mountain had been deliberately set in two locations.
