Bounty hunter shoots man during arrest

SUN VALLEY, Calif. L.A. police say three bounty hunters went to a home in the 8200 block of Marmay Place with an arrest warrant for a man who jumped bail on a misdemeanor charge at about 9:23 p.m.

The man tried to get away, and a fight broke out. One of the bounty hunters shot the man in the leg.

The man was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Police are now investigating whether the bounty hunters were authorized to carry weapons.
