Gunman opens fire in South L.A., kills 2

SOUTH LOS ANGELES Police said a gunman walked up to two men and opened fire in front of an apartment building at 101st Street and South Main just after 8 p.m.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other victim was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.

Authorities said the shooting appears to be gang related.
