NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. Authorities said the incident occurred on the 11700 block of Vanowen Street near Lankershim Boulevard at about 1:15 a.m. Three men were fighting when one pulled out a gun and shot 18-year-old Carlos Martinez of Pacoima.
He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. The suspects, believed to be 17 to 23 years old, fled the scene.
