Hollywood Blvd. closed for Oscar preps

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. Construction has already begun outside the Kodak Theater in Hollywood.

Hollywood Boulevard was closed between Highland Avenue and Orange Drive as crews began work. Hollywood Boulevard was reopened for the Monday morning commute, but the roadway closed Monday night for the rest of the week.

The road will stay closed until 6 a.m. Tuesday, March 9.

MTA subway trains will bypass the Hollywood & Highland station after the last regularly scheduled train on Saturday, March 6, until 6 a.m. Monday, March 8. Service at the station will resume with the first scheduled train after 6 a.m.

Additional streets and sidewalks will be closed in the area for varying periods.
