The LAPD continued to chase the Mazda onto the southbound 405 Freeway from the LAX area. When the suspect exited the freeway, a police car used to PIT maneuver to stop the car on Crenshaw, just south of the 405 Freeway.
The male suspect inside the vehicle was arrested without incident in the city of Torrance.
During the PIT maneuver, the police car also struck another vehicle, but no one was injured.
