LAPD Bomb Squad called to Century City

CENTURY CITY, Calif. The suspicious package was reported at a building on the 10300 block of Santa Monica Blvd., approximately two blocks west of the /*Westfield Century City Shopping Mall*/.

Officers from the LAPD West Los Angeles Division cordoned off the area surrounding the building, which is adjacent to a residential area.

Little Santa Monica Blvd. was closed to traffic, but Santa Monica Blvd. was not affected.

The Bomb Squad determined the package was not dangerous. The suspicious object was a briefcase.
