LAPD Bomb Squad called to Century City

The LAPD Bomb Squad responded to a report of a suspicious package in Century City Monday.The suspicious package was reported at a building on the 10300 block of Santa Monica Blvd., approximately two blocks west of the Westfield Century City Shopping Mall.

Officers from the LAPD West Los Angeles Division cordoned off the area surrounding the building, which is adjacent to a residential area.

Little Santa Monica Blvd. was closed to traffic, but Santa Monica Blvd. was not affected.

The Bomb Squad determined the package was not dangerous. The suspicious object was a briefcase.
