Police there have yet to confirm 47-year-old Michael's arrest, but said a man in his 40s was taken into custody on suspicion of being unfit to drive on Sunday. The man was later released on bail.
In 2007, Michael was banned from driving for two years after pleading guilty to driving while under the influence of drugs.
Last year, Michael was questioned by police after his car hit a tractor trailer.
