Gone did something few people have tried. He injected ink into both of his eyes by himself.
He said he knows it was risky.
"I'm glad I did it. I got lucky, but it's your risk, and I'm not going to help you. I did this for me. This is my project, my body," said Gone.
Doctors warned others not to try it. They said it poses a serious risk for infection that could lead to blindness or even cause the loss of an eye.
