Wis. company recalls 2,800 lbs of beef sticks

Nearly 3,000 pounds of beef sticks are being pulled from stores because they may contain foreign material.The U.S. Department of Agriculture said Klement Sausage Company in Milwaukee is recalling 2,800 pounds of its "Market Pantry Beef Sticks Original."

This follows complaints from customers who claim they've found pieces of hard plastic and glass in the product.

So far, there are no reports of any injuries.

The recalled 8-ounce beef sticks are stamped with the "use-by" date of March 1, 2012.
