MIAMI --New Florida Congresswoman Frederica Wilson is known for her signature hats, but she can't wear them in the House.Wilson always wore a hat while serving as a Miami-Dade school board member and state lawmaker.
When she is sworn into office in January, she will not be wearing a hat.
Hats are not allowed on the floor while the House is in session. That rule dates back to the 19th century.
Wilson has no problem not wearing a hat.
