Runner wins for team by crawling to finish

FRESNO, Calif.

Holland Reynolds was competing in last weekend's CIF state cross country meet in Fresno when when she felt a sudden pain and collapsed to her knees a few feet from the finish line. If anyone helped her cross the finish her team would be disqualified so she crawled the rest of the way.

Her time was good enough to give her team the state championship, honoring her coach Jim Tracy, who has ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease.

Reynolds was given her trophy with the rest of her team in the ambulance. She was diagnosed with hypothermia and dehydration from running in the cold.
