This holiday season's hottest toys

LOS ANGELES At the Los Feliz Toys R Us store, the Sing-a-ma-jiggs toys were making a lot of noise, figuratively and literally. The plush crooners sing in harmony and can be found in the $10 range.

Another hit with younger kids are pillow pets. With a tug on their Velcro they can quickly transform from an animal to pillow.

Dance Star Mickey is moonwalking his way to big sales and flying off store shelves. There were only two left at the Los Feliz Toys R Us Monday.

The Squinkies Cupcake Surprise Bake Shop is a popular choice for the younger girls, as is ever-popular Disney princess paraphernalia, like the Princess and Me dolls which feature Disney's most popular animated princesses.

Toys R Us says boys are gravitating to the Nerf N-Strike Stampede and other Nerf launchers. Also selling well this season are the Fast Lane Wildfire remote control trucks and the Imaginex Bigfoot the Monster animated action figure.

This year there are new upgrades in the video gaming industry, such as the PlayStation Move and the Xbox Kinect, but supplies are already in short demand on these popular items. However, so far there are no nationwide shortages of a must-have toy.
