'King's Speech' nominated for 14 BAFTA awards

LONDON The awards are Britain's equivalent to the Oscars.

Colin Firth is a favorite to win the best actor award for his performance in "The King's Speech." He took home the Golden Globe on Sunday for that performance.

The film has 14 nominations, though it's facing strong competition from "Black Swan," which has 12 nominations, and "Inception," which has nine.

"The Social Network" has six nominations, including best picture.
