James Thomas, 60, was sentenced to five years in state prison after he pleaded no contest to one charge of kidnapping a victim under 14.
Bus driver Cardell Stewart was honored for quick action for calling authorities after the girl's mother reported her 6-year-old daughter was kidnapped from his bus last February.
Bus driver Helen Brandon was also honored for spotting the suspect and the girl on her bus and calling deputies.
