The safety of body imaging scanners will be called into question Wednesday.

A house committee plans to hold a hearing in Washington D.C. Last week, TSA officials ordered re-testing of all radiation-emitting full body scanners.

A recent internal review showed calculation errors, missing data and other discrepancies by contractors hired to check the machine's radiation levels.

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano has said the machines give off the same amount of radiation as one would get from two minutes of air.
