The incident happened Tuesday night on the 800 block of 76th Street.
No deputies were injured. The sheriff's department said deputies were on patrol when they spotted three suspected gang members.
When the deputies tried to make contact with them, the suspects fled on foot. At one point, authorities said two of the suspects pulled out hand guns, and the deputies opened fire.
The two wounded suspects received non-life threatening wounds.
The third was questioned and released.
