Gunmen open fire at 3 teenagers in Anaheim

An investigation is under way in Anaheim after gunmen opened fire on several teenagers for no apparent reason on Friday, June 10, 2011.

An investigation is under way in Anaheim after gunmen opened fire on several teenagers for no apparent reason.

The incident happened just before 11 p.m. Friday in the 3400 block of West Olinda Avenue.

Police said at least two men wearing dark hooded sweatshirts walked up to a courtyard and shot the teenagers.

Two were taken to an area hospital. A third wounded teenager came forward about a half hour later.

Officials said all of the victims suffered non life-threatening injuries.

A motive for the shooting was not known.
