The show features 36 dancers representing several different countries.
"It represents so many different cultures and I think that's the key, and it's a global production," said ballet dancer Antoinette Peloso.
Artistic director Natasha Middleton said the audience will have a good time.
"That's what we like to do is bring in high entertainment to everybody. It's almost like seeing the movies on the stage," said Middleton.
"Axis Mundi" comes to life on the Ford Amphitheatre stage Friday night.
