Wesley Snipes' appeal in tax case rejected by federal court

ATLANTA

The "Blade" actor was convicted in 2008 on three misdemeanor counts of willfully not filing income tax returns.

Snipes' lawyers had argued that they were contacted by former jurors who reported misconduct among the panel.

The actor started a three-year term in a Pennsylvania prison in December.

Snipes also is known for his appearances in films, such as "White Men Can't Jump" and "Demolition Man."
