Kardashian and Burke Waltzed their way to triple nines during their first dance Monday night.

When they returned for their freestyle routine, they upped their game with triple 10s, their first perfect score of the season.

Fifty-seven points out of 60 was enough to put them to the top of the board.

"I'm on a very high cloud right now," Kardashian said. "Definitely did not expect that.

"I loved the routine from the get-go, but I did not expect a perfect score," he said about his freestyle. "We've never gotten that so to get that score in the final, it's just crazy. I can't even believe it."

Tied for second place with 54 points apiece were Ricki Lake with partner Derek Hough and J.R. Martinez with partner Karina Smirnoff.

Lake and Hough scored triple nines for their Cha Cha and another set of the same for their freestyle.

"He's amazing and I'm really proud of myself. This is something I never thought I could do," Lake said. "For someone who's been so self-conscious about my weight my whole life, it's a triumph for me. Whether I walk away with the mirror ball (trophy) or not, I feel like I have done something really, really great in my life."

Martinez and Smirnoff earned a perfect score for their freestyle, but they also got the night's lowest score, 24, for their Cha Cha.

Smirnoff has a theory about that.

"We became really, really good friends with Rob and Cheryl in the last few weeks and I really feel like it was their strategy to take us down," she said. "Earlier, right before Cha Cha, I stood there and I felt Rob Kardahsian (sniffing). I think he was inhaling our great moves. That's why we messed up."

There is more dancing to be done Tuesday night before one team wins the season 13 mirror ball trophy.
