Four people were rushed to the hospital.
Firefighters say two cars were involved in an accident at 228th Street and Western Avenue on Saturday. Witnesses say one of the vehicles spun out of control and crashed into El Indio, a Mexican restaurant.
"I feel sad more than anything. We've been here for 30 years. My father and my mother opened this restaurant in 1979 and we've been in business ever since," said Jaime Gonzalez, the restaurant owners' son.
The family says those who were hurt are expected to be OK and that they hope to be back in business soon.
There was no word who was at fault in the crash. It is still under investigation.
