Oscar Duncan, 23, was killed as he and his girlfriend returned home from bible study. Investigators say a white car pulled up to the couple and someone inside opened fire. Duncan was hit in the head.
Two people are in custody in connection to the killing. Police believe the suspects were gang members, but say Duncan was not involved in gangs.
Duncan was a youth pastor at a Compton church and volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club of Venice.
