Chino police searching for suspect possibly tied to four robberies

The Chino Police Department has released a surveillance image in hopes of identifying a man wanted in connection with several robberies across San Bernardino County.

All four robberies took place Friday between 3:50 a.m. and 4:42 a.m.

Police say the suspect robbed a 7-Eleven store on the 12000 block of Mountain Avenue in Chino.

He is also wanted for questioning in connection to the following robberies: 7-Eleven store on the 4500 block of Holt Avenue in Montclair; 7-Eleven store on the 2500 block of South Euclid Avenue in Ontario; and Shell gas station on the 2200 block of South Archibald Avenue in Ontario.

The suspect was described as a white or Hispanic male, in his early 20's, with a thin build and short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a black Obey sweatshirt. Witnesses said the suspect had fresh cuts under his left eye and on his left hand.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information regarding the robberies or the suspect was urged to contact Chino police at (909) 628-1234.
