Up to 10 cars involved in 405 Freeway crash in Hawthorne

HAWTHORNE, Calif. (KABC) -- The California Highway Patrol was investigating Friday up to a 10 car pile-up on the northbound 405 Freeway in Hawthorne.

The incident occurred at about 10 p.m. on the freeway at El Segundo Boulevard. Up to 10 cars were involved.

A SigAlert was issued for the carpool, number 1, 2 and 3 lanes, but was quickly cleared up.
