DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (KABC) -- All lanes of the eastbound 60 Freeway in Diamond Bar were reopened Friday after a crash involving two semi-trucks blocked multiple lanes for most of the morning.
The collision occurred around 1:20 a.m. just past the Grand Avenue exit. All lanes were reopened by around 7:50 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A stalled semi was rear-ended by another semi. A 43-year-old man in the second semi suffered major injuries to his legs. It took crews more than an hour to get him out of the cab of the semi.
It remains unclear if the crash was caused by rain.
