Woman who lost husband, 2 kids in 91 Freeway crash speaks out

Niya Mann is grieving an unimaginable loss.

The future she and her husband, 33-year-old Lavell Mann, planned for their children, 3-year-old Logan and 9-month-old Legend, is gone.

"He had so many things that he wanted to see him do and grow up. Him be there for him, and now we can't do that now," Niya Mann said as tears rolled down her face.

Lavell Mann and the couple's two children died in a crash on the 91 Freeway early Saturday morning.

Niya Mann says her husband was driving their children to Long Beach to spend the weekend with their grandparents. Now the grieving widow and mother is planning three funerals.
