Poster of 'Venus' banned in London

Art seen as too sexy for London's subway
LONDON Officials have given thumbs-down to a poster which features the golden-haired "Venus," covered by just a transparent veil.

The poster advertises an exhibit at London's Royal Academy of Arts, opening next month. "Venus" is one the 70 paintings due to go on display.

Museum officials say they're shocked by the decision to ban the classic nude.

They add they wouldn't have submitted the design if they thought it was offensive.
