Prehistoric blockbuster conquers theaters

LOS ANGELES The visual effects spectacle took in 37.5 million dollars, on top of the more than 25 million it took in overseas last week.

Opening in second place was Disney's Martin Lawrence comedy "College Road Trip." It pulled in 14 million dollars.

"Vantage Point" came in third with 7.5 million dollars. Will Ferrell's "Semi-Pro" fell from Number One last week to the fourth-place spot with 5.8 million dollars.

Debuting at Number Five was the heist thriller "The Bank Job." It opened with 5.7 million dollars.
