At one point the fire threatened about a dozen homes. The homes were not damaged and no evacuations were ordered.
The fire burned about 30 acres of grass and brush. Luckily, the winds have been fairly light in the area and crews are now mopping up.
Investigators have not said how they determined the fire was arson.
