"Citysearch has got our finger on the pulse on everything that's hot and happening, and Ivan Kane's Cafe Wa s is the hottest new spot in town, I have to say," said Citysearch Senior Editor Mar Yvette.
"Basically, it's a French bistro," said Ivan Kane. "We wanted to have a Bohemian vibe, where good friends could gather in a good room to discuss and argue about life, love, politics, and art."
"You get a taste of the glam and glitz of Hollywood," said Yvette. "It's an opulent, gorgeous space. The fabulous thing is that the four-course, price-fixe menu is only $55, and $26 for children 12 and under."
"We do it with a bit of a Bohemian twist, a bit of a French flair," said Kane. "But basically, it's turkey and stuffing and mashed potatoes and cranberries and everything that you want to have. Very comfort food."
For an "Only in L.A." Thanksgiving dinner, head to Coast in Santa Monica. Located in the Shutters on the Beach Hotel, it's serving a three-course price-fixe menu with a view.
"From 5 to 10, they'll be serving it," said Yvette. "It's only $45, which really is a steal, especially on the Westside. Fifty percent off for children 12 and under. And they'll be having all the traditional fixings: Pumpkin soup, the turkey with the stuffing and veggies, and maple pecan pie."
Or, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., celebrate on The Queen Mary in Long Beach. Champagne brunch is $49 for adults, $12 for children 5 to 11, and kids under 5 are free.
"What better way to celebrate the holiday? Bring the family and be on an historic ship," said Citysearch's Mar Yvette.
Already known for its steak, on Thanksgiving Day Nick and Stef's Steakhouse is all about a traditional turkey dinner from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. It's $32 for adults, $19 for kids under 12.
