Love that lasts forever is possible

Scientists at Stony Brook University found a small number of couples still feel as much passion after 20 years together as those in the early stages of romance.

The brains of the longtime couples were scanned and compared with those of new lovers.

About 10 percent of mature couples had the same chemical reactions as those just starting out.

Previous research suggested that romantic love begins fading after 15 months, and is gone completely after 10 years.
