Prosecutors had charged him with setting four fires between July and August 2008, but three of the counts were dismissed in exchange for his plea.
Lintz, who has a prior arson conviction, also admitted causing injury to a firefighter who was hurt while putting out the fire.
Lintz was arrested after hikers spotted him in an area where the fire started.
