Blood pressure meds reduced other risks

British doctors reviewed four decades worth of clinical research.

The results showed that a combination of different types of hypertension drugs reduced the odds of stroke and heart disease in all patients.

The study researchers said this suggests all seniors should be offered blood pressure drugs, even if they have normal blood pressure levels.

Critics say the study needs more review.
