Man locked inside U-Haul by thieves

DETROIT, Mich. The man drove to Detroit with the rented truck to buy gym equipment he saw advertised on Craigslist. When he got there, he was robbed and locked inside the U-Haul.

A local TV news crew arrived on the scene before authorities got there. Firefighters eventually got him out using a bolt cutter and a crowbar.

"When he got out, we thought it was going to be, like, tragic," said witness Eddie Pinkston. "But [the news crew] got here before them. I don't know how the hell you all do that, but that was good. You all are quick. You all don't play."

The victim didn't want to talk about his ordeal and police are searching for the suspects.
