Breast feeding moms lose bone density

LOS ANGELES A new study shows mothers who breast feed need exercise to fight off a loss in bone density caused by lower levels of calcium.

Researchers found that new moms who didn't exercise lost about seven percent of the bone density in their lower spine.

That's two percent more than those who did exercise.

Because of the findings, experts suggest breast feeding moms do cardio and strength training three days a week.
