A man allegedly asked her if she wanted a ride and, when she said no, he grabbed her arm and tried to pull her inside the car.
She managed to kick the man and was able to escape. As she was calling a friend on a cell phone, the assailant got back in his car and fled the scene.
The suspect was described as a bald Latino in his 40s, with a dark complexion, 5 feet 6 to 5 feet 8 inches tall and about 180 pounds. He was wearing a blue T-shirt, blue jeans and white leather gloves.
The car didn't have a license plate and had damage to the front bumper.
