Woman accused of stealing designer goods

LOS ANGELES Police say Julieta Pimentel, 48, was taken into custody at her apartment along the 100 block of South Occidental Boulevard, and booked on suspicion of receiving stolen property.

Glendora police received a tip that a woman was selling stolen items from the apartment, and detectives obtained a search warrant.

Officers arrived Tuesday morning, arrested Pimentel and recovered over 300 items reported stolen from the truck back on Sept. 23.

The items included designer bags, purses, luggage and clothing from brands like Juicy Couture, Coach, Dooney & Bourke, Express, Tommy Hilfiger, Frederick's of Hollywood, Guess, North Face, True Religion, and Abercrombie and Fitch.

Pimentel is being held on $20,000 bail.
